A Book Bazaar is running in the exhibition space of the KAM (Megalo Arsenali) on the old port in Chania from Wednesday 7th May to Saturday 24th May. Works published by the Municipality of Chania, the Municipal Picture Gallery and the Centre for Mediterranean Architecture on art, history and architecture are available free or at very low prices.

While we have no specific information about what is on offer, the Municipal Art Gallery in particular has produced a number of interesting publications derived from its exhibitions, including a handsome catalogue of the work of marine painter Konstantinos Volanakis and a biographical book about the British painter and Chania resident John Craxton.

The Bazaar is open daily, except Sunday, from 10.00 to 15.00.
