With the current fashion for “destination weddings” among foreign visitors, it is inevitable that some of the most scenic sites in the Nomos of Chania have proved popular for such ceremonies. The list of approved sites in the Municipality of Kissamos, which already included favourites such as Balos and Falassarna, has now been extended to include the archaeological site of Rokka, where there is an annual concert at the time of the “supermoon” in August.
